Self-centered refers to a person who is excessively focused on themselves, their needs, desires, and priorities. A self-centered person is preoccupied with their own feelings, opinions, and needs to the point that they disregard the feelings and needs of others. They tend to be narcissistic, attention-seeking, and may lack empathy and concern for others. Self-centeredness can lead to a lack of healthy relationships, as well as feelings of isolation, loneliness, and depression. It can also make it difficult for the person to see beyond their own needs, goals, and desires, leading to a narrow-minded view of the world.
